The Los Angeles Lakers have beaten the San Antonio Spurs but after dominating most of the game, they were close to getting it out of their hands thanks to a great close by rookie Victor Wembanyama.

Anthony Davis had an outstanding first half, as he scored a season-high 24 points, and ended the game with a total of 37 points to show he is indeed the face of the team, especially since LeBron James wasn't on the floor for this second back-to-back match.

Rui Hachimura was the Laker picked by coach Darvin Ham to replace LeBron James on the starting five and didn't disappoint, as the Japanese wing has been having a hard time playing with a mask on because of his nasal fracture injury, still, gave a good performance scoring 13 points with 7 rebounds and one assist.

Austin Reaves also had another great night as he continues to be key for the team on his coming off the bench role but playing the most than some of the starters. Reaves scored 15 points with 4 rebounds and 8 assists.

Anthony Davis praised the Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama

Anthony Davis says Victor Wembanyama is "extremely talented" and it was "fun" playing against him.  "He showed why he's the No. 1 pick and a candidate for Rookie of the Year tonight."
