Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs to beat the Lakers, LA' superstar praises the rookie

One of the things to be followed this season in the NBA has been the performances of Victor Wembanyama, as the San Antonio Spurs rookie raised a lot of expectations before the 2023 NBA Draft.

Now that Wemby has been playing for 22 games in the league he has become a reality, as he has shown to truly have the potential to become one of he best players in the NBA for years to come.

Ahead of the second game against the Lakers this week, Victor spoke on how they were set to win on Friday night after having an 18-game losing streak. The Spurs really wanted to take the win at their home.

LeBron James spoke about Wemby in the post-game interview as he said: "He's a special talent and they've got a good one here." LeBron was back after missing the previous match vs.  San Antonio but wasn't able to make much as Anthony Davis missed the game.

The Lakers need another center as soon as possible

When Anthony Davis isn't playing, the Lakers need to find another center on the market before the trade deadline. Not having a physical rim protector really makes things difficult if Anthony Davis is out.
