We now understand the reason behind Nunns surprising performance

Not only the Lakers won by having some significant absences with Anthony Davis, Lonnie Walker IV, Damian Jones, Troy Brown Jr., and even Austin Reaves being out.

But one of the biggest surprises on Friday night in the Lakers game vs. the Atlanta Hawks was the guard Kendrick Nunn, scoring 23 points to have a season-high.

Kendrick Nunn revealed how far he has decided to go for coach Ham to keep him in mind to play and for the team to keep him around, at least for the end of the season.

Coach Ham is the one who made it possible for Nunn to have the superb performance the guard had. Ham says his message to Kendrick Nunn has been to be "aggressive and decisive," and that's what he saw from him tonight. He credited Nunn for staying locked in even though he has been in and out of the rotation.

Coach Ham gave Nunn his last opportunity

With changes coming on the team's roster, coach Darvin Ham gave Nunn a request to start turning things around for him or to be traded to another group to end the season away from Los Angeles. Nunn gave a season-high performance.
