It seems that Russell Westbrook's nightmare of a season last year's campaign in the Los Angeles Lakers is something of the past, as his teammates currently like him, and he also became a fan-favorite after the coming-off-the-bench role coach Ham gave him.

The Lakers PG is also the highest-paid player on the roster, even over Anthony Davis and LeBron James, who are considered superior players, as Russ has a 47 million annual salary.

Still, Westbrook opened a clothing store in Los Angeles to invest and get more money, and his teammate Juan Toscano-Anderson, who earns around 1.8 Million per year, just showed his support to Russ' clothing store. Espn's Dave McMenamin shared the story:

“Juan Toscano-Anderson told us that he went to the store with his girlfriend,” McMenamin said, referencing Westbrook’s clothing store. “… He said he bought every male item of clothing in his size in the store. He dropped several thousand dollars to support his teammate. … This shows to me that, for a guy who had trouble connecting with the Lakers locker room last season for a variety of reasons, mostly based on the frustrations from how he fitted on the court, he has a true connection to this year’s group.”

Westbrook has improved his performance this season compared to the last one.

So far this season, Westbrook has come off the bench in all but three of his 38 appearances. Though his numbers have dropped compared to his peak years, he is still averaging 15.1 points, 7.9 assists, and 6.4 rebounds per game.
