Being one of the greatest NBA players the sport has ever seen, LeBron James gets praised often. However, the older generations and players that came before "The King" sided with Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate and diminished the newer generation.

But Allen Iverson is not one of them; he has been able to big up the guys that came after him. Not sure anyone else from his generation did it besides the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Recently Iverson spoke about the Lakers forward LeBron James and said, "LeBron got his critics like everybody else, he don't f*ck*ng sh!t, yes I'm saying LeBron James is the motherf*ckers that your kids want to be like. F*ck, I'm coming off the court; I know off the court that's how awesome he is, he did it so well, and he does it so well, know you motherf*ckers that people teach like this how you supposed to be off the court, f*ck that on the court sh!t that motherf*cker, excellent dog, and got an excellent family and an excellent cast behind him. That motherf*cker is awesome, and his son and we will talk about him for the next 20 years."

Once LeBron James retires, more people will place him as the GOAT over Michael Jordan, but at the moment, he is still the 2nd greatest for the vast majority of NBA fans, but that could change if the Lakers win this season's championship.

LeBron James is passing the torch of the Lakers to Anthony Davis

Even when there is still no time frame of when James will retire, the Lakers are playing like Anthony Davis's team and not LeBron. This indicates that AD is, in fact, the team's future, as James is already passing the torch to Davis
