Even when his postseason performances weren't the best and many fans were disappointed with him, the vast majority of the Lakers Nation are excited to see what D'Angelo Russell will bring for the next campaign.
Russell has been busy between the camp he hosted earlier in the offseason, the new two-year for 37 million deal he signed with LA, and the work he has been putting up, especially in China.
First D-Lo was seen in China with the son of the NBA legend now new Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, he is back in China hooping and now hanging with Dwyane.
This is good news, as Russell could learn from one of the Miami Heat and NBA legends Dwyane Wade, who happens to be a close friend of the Lakers star LeBron James.
Like many other Lakers, Russell is extremely popular in China. Many will recall the unbelievable crowds that Kobe Bryant would draw in his trips there and the same is true of current Lakers superstar LeBron James. Russell is nowhere near that level of popularity, but there were still a lot of Russell jerseys and fans lining up for autographs and pictures.
