Philipines is hosting the current FIBA World Cup, and today their National Basketball team got their final game for them in this edition as they were eliminated but they went out with a bang thanks to the impressive win over China led by the former Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson had an outstanding performance as he scored a total of 33 points to beat China, but the most impressive of the former Lakers was that he scored 20 points in less than 4 minutes.

With this performance, Clarkson continues to show the value and scoring that could bring to the Lakers if Pelinka decides to sign him back, as the team needs some 3-point shooting.

The Lakers are currently looking to add another big to their roster, but the addition of Clarkson could be beneficial for the team if they decided to use the 15th spot to help D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, and Gabe Vincent in the backcourt.

Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell reunion could help the Lakers

D'Angelo Russell had a great close of the regular season in the last campaign, and even when his playoff performances were somewhat disappointing, a potential reunion with Jordan Clarkson could help both players to top their game even more.
