The LA Lakers superstar Anthony Davis hasn't met the expectations set on him after the 2020 championship; it's time to make a change. This is what Sharpe thinks about it

The Los Angeles Lakers had a great season the first year LeBron James and Anthony Davis played together in the 2020 championship, and they were able to win it; since then, nothing has been the same.

Injury after injury has kept Davis off the court for most of the season and out of shape, only with some flashes of his greatness, including the latest season, as he played all the postseason run with an injury and "disappeared" on several games, including the WCF series vs. the Nuggets that ended in a swept.

For the Fox Sports 'Undisputed' broadcaster Shannon Sharpe, known as a Lakers fanatic, the time for Anthony Davis in LA should end, as he thinks the front office shouldn't give AD an extension.

"How could you be mad at the Lakers, given his history since The Bubble? He's always injured." Said Sharpe on the latest episode of 'Undisputed.' Davis is eligible for a 3-year extension of around 167 million, but Sharpe thinks LA should move on from him and bring in another superstar instead.

Skip Bayless thinks AD is impossible to replace

After Sharpe's sentiment on the Lakers not pursuing AD's extension, his co-host Skip Bayless thinks he is impossible to replace. "It's impossible to replace this guy unless you tell me you can substitute in Embiid or Jokiç," said Bayless.
