One of the losses that still hurt the Lakers fans this offseason has been the PG Dennis Schröder

Not only Dennis Schröder was a valuable player for Coach Ham, but the German PG was able to save the team on more than one occasion. Schröder was a great closer and clutch player, his 3-point buzz-beater shot helped the team beat the Timberwolves in the Play-In tournament.

Dennis played for the Lakers with a vet minimum contract of two million but now has left the team with an impressive two-year 26 million contract with the Toronto Raptors.

The reason GM Rob Pelinka and Darvin Ham didn't attempt to re-sign Dennis Schröder is because of the point guard they were able to get to replace him: Gabe Vincent.

Vincent just played the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat but didn't choose to stay there, instead, he signed with the Purple and Gold because believes the Lakers have what it takes to win a championship title.

The Lakers also let go of Lonnie Walker

One of the best 3-point shooters for the Purple and Gold in the last season was Lonnie Walker but Pelinka and Ham didn't do a thing to stop him from signing with the Brooklyn Nets for the next campaign.
