With the win over the Cleveland Cavaliers this Saturday night, the Los Angeles Lakers now stand with a 10-7 record this season, a big improvement if compared to what the team did in the previous campaign.
One of the players that helped to turn last season around was Jarred Vanderbilt who became the undisputed starting wing, this season he hasn't started a single game as he has been out ever since he got hurt in the first preseason game against the Golden State Warriors.
Vanderbilt has been missed as the team lacks of defensive game is desperately needs a player like Jarred, and while he has started his comeback, he is still away from stepping the floor.
Yet, Jarred is focused on his team and the wins, without Rui Hachimura and Cam Reddish, Max Christie got to start for the second game in a row and Vando is all for it. After the sophomore gave a great performance, Vando posted: "Max Christie!!" as a sign of how well Christie has done in his last couple of performances.
LeBron James on Max Christie: "When you're trusted by your coaches, one, that helps. Knowing that he's gonna get his number called, he's been ready. And he stepped up. He was big-time tonight. One of the tough matchups in this league is Donovan Mitchell, obviously, with his ability to score in all three levels ... I just think he did a good job just trying to keep his body on him, make him take tough shots, no foul. And he made some key shots for us, as well. Key plays for us. He was big time."
