Besides Jarred Vanderbilt's official signed extension, the Lakers front office has made another surprising announcement

The Los Angeles Lakers had an eventful day, as they have officially announced the extension signing of the wing Jarred Vanderbilt for four more years and 48 million, but also have just waived a player.

In a surprising move, the Lakers have announced the waiving of a player who was recently signed. Last week the team incorporated an exhibit with four players, now one is gone.

The Los Angeles Lakers have made it official that the guard Bryce Hamilton has just been waived as they posted: "ROSTER UPDATE: The Los Angeles Lakers requested waivers on guard Bryce Hamilton."

Other announcements could be made, as there's only one final spot available and four players were signed for an exhibit-10, including last year's rookie Scotty Pippen Jr.

The Lakers have one more roster spot available

At the moment, with the signing of the center Christian Wood and having already their three two-way deals occupied, only one last spot is free, and now three players are looking to get it.
