The Los Angeles Lakers continue seeking to add another big center to their roster, even when most of their signings were completed in the first couple of days after the free agent market started.

The Lakers parted ways for this offseason with three centers, Mo Bamba, Wenyen Gabriel, and Tristan Thompson. Of the three, Bamba has found another team to play for in the next season, but Gabriel and Thompson still need to.

Wenyen Gabriel recently shared on his IG story a picture of himself with an LA cap that makes the Lakers fans miss him and ask the front office to sign him back as our backup center.

Even when Gabriel isn't a difference maker, he still is a reliable rotation player that could help the Lakers in their plans to contend for the NBA championship title for the next campaign.

What separates the Lakers from the center Christian Wood

According to a recent report by Jovan Buha, the Lakers have two main options to sign as a significant center in the current free agency market: Christian Wood and Bismack Biyombo. But the purple and gold want to sign Wood for the vet min, and the center could be asking for more; this would separate both parties.
