In recent weeks, much has been said about Messi signing with the Inter Miami getting the Argentinan star one of the most lucrative deals in sports history, passing the one that LeBron James currently has with the Lakers.

But Messi has about a 600 net worth, while LeBron's fortune is more than a billion dollars. Still, another soccer superstar can get more than both players, including salaries and endorsements deals, if he accepts an offer from Saudi Arabia.

In recent years the top 3 highest-paid athletes have been Messi, LeBron James, and Cristiano Ronaldo; Ronaldo became the highest after accepting a 200M per year salary in Saudi Arabia with the soccer team Al-Nassr. Still, if he accepts the deal, Kylian Mbappe is about to leave LeBron James, Messi, and CR7 under him.

With information via Bleacher Report, the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal is offering an unreal record-breaking $1.1 BILLION to bring over Mbappé on a one-year deal  Transfer fee to PSG would be $332M, and his salary would be $776M. This would make Mbappe the highest-paid athlete over LeBron James and will danger his 1 billion net worth. Mbappe is only 24 years old.

LeBron James was present at Messi's Inter-Miami debut

This past Friday night, the US saw the anticipated debut of the biggest soccer star on the planet, Leonel Messi, now the new Inter Miami player. LeBron James was there and embraced Messi before the game started, and after it, the Lakers star didn't hesitate to call Messi the GOAT after the new Inter-Miami star scored the winning goal.
