The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is now to have crossed the billionaire mark earlier this year and has been one of the wealthiest athletes in the world for a long time.

The same goes for Messi, who may still be behind the Billion dollars fortune with a net worth of 600 Million, but like the NBA star, he owns a luxury watch collection.

LeBron has recently been seen with one of his newest and most expensive watches. James has spent a small fortune buying a new Audemars Piguet and showed off the new timepiece on Instagram by joking he's already given it the nickname 'Papa Smurf.' The watch has a price tag of $100K.

While the current world cup champion Messi has one of the most luxurious watches out there, a watch that defies traditional watches, Jacob & Co. experimented with a new design when they inaugurated the Grand Complication Epic SF24 Tourbillon worth $236,000.

LeBron and Messi have lifetime deals with Nike and Adidas, respectively

LeBron James is known to have his brand alongside his partner Nike, and he recently signed a lifetime deal worth 1 Billion dollars. Superstar Messi did the same with Adidas, but his value is reported to be slightly shorter at 900 Million.
