Many experts in the NBA media thought that the Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant would get one of the most significant suspensions in the league. Instead, he got 25, while substantial which differs from what most expected.

At 23 years old, Morant has failed to be the role model many expect from an NBA superstar, exceptionally one as talented as the Grizzlies player. Ja has issued an apology following the 25 games suspension announcement.

"To the kids who look up to me, I'm sorry for failing you as a role model," said Morant after the news broke online. But Morant should be learning from what Austin Reaves did two years ago when he was Ja's age.

Reaves was undrafted but was already putting all the work at College and showing the Lakers what he was capable of, proving he was a talent promise that now just had his breakout season, his first signature shoe, and also has committed to the USA Basketball National team to play in the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
