The Los Angeles Lakers have tonight the debut of their roster for the summer league, filled with young and talented players, including the new rookies and some returning faces from last year, one of them is Scotty Pippen Jr.

Pippen Jr. had a two-way contract last year with the Lakers and spent most of his time shining with the South Bay Lakers; sadly, this year, he no longer has a contract; still, he will be part of LA's roster for this Summer League in pursuit of a new deal with the purple and gold or another NBA team.

Tonight will be the debut of Pippen Jr. and the Lakers as they will face the Miami Heat in the Summer Classics. This team excites the fans, as there are some potentially great players, including Scotty.

But Pippen Jr. has received the worst news that could distract him, thanks to the personal social life of his mother, Larsa Pippen, who has been in constant controversy since dating Michael Jordan's son. And just today, in Scotty's debut LA vs. the Heat, a video of MJ has revealed that he disapproves of the relationship between his son and Scotty's mother, Larsa Pippen.

What to watch today in the Lakers vs. Heat

With later today being the debut of the young roster for the Lakers Summer League, fans will be looking to see how Jalen Hood-Schifino looks with the 1. pace and 2. spacing in today's game. Will he get sped up? Can he take advantage of a more spread floor than he saw at Indiana? Also, another name the fans want to see is Max Christie. Has the sophomore taken his game to the next level? He's already stronger; does he get to his spots consistently? Look polished compared to the Summer League peers? That and more will be interesting tonight vs. the NBA Finalist Miami Heat.
