The Los Angeles Lakers are facing the Portland Trail Blazers in each team's third game of the season. However, the two are coming from different realities, as the Lakers are 0-2 so far, while the Blazers have a 2-0 record.
Lonnie Walker, the Lakers 23-year-old guard, had an excellent performance in his previous game, scoring a total of 26 points and scoring 9-21 FG, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. While the also 23 year old Anfernee Simons, with the Blazers, in his second gam,e scored a total of 16 points, 5 out of 17 FG, had three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
Today, the two guards are playing with their teams against each other, and they have the opportunity to demonstrate who is the better player. So far, Lonnie has proved to be a worthy player for the Lakers team.
The Lakers coach Darvin Ham is still thinking to give some playing minutes to the just recovered Troy Brown Jr. who missed all the preseason games and the first two regular season games. To get some rhythm, Brown Jr. will be seeing minutes only when Ham thinks he can do it without putting the game at risk.
