The Schedule for the next season is ready, the purple and gold are looking to add another championship title to their trophy room

After the last season, the Lakers were able to make it to the WCF when everything pointed out to be a massive failure and have the franchise with a second playoff-less season in a row, the team's GM Rob Pelinka and coach Darvin Ham made a bet on stability and consistency by bringing back the core of the group for the next campaign.

Last season was a roller coaster that began with a 2-10 start and resulted in realistic championship hopes until the Denver Nuggets eliminated the Purple and Gold in the Western Conference Finals.

Los Angeles continued that momentum into the offseason by keeping Austin Reaves, Russell, and Hachimura and adding formidable role players in Gabe Vincent, Taurean Prince, and Jaxson Hayes, among others.

The top games to look forward to if you are a purple and gold fan are, for starters the season opener, that not only will the return of the team to the court, but the most anticipated rematch, as LA will be playing at Denver Nuggets on October 24, 7:30 pm ET. The next game to follow is the at-home season opener that will be played against Kevin Durant's Phoenix Suns for a rematch after the preseason loss.

The Lakers' preseason showed potential

Even when the Lakers ended with a 2-4 preseason record, the scores weren't important, as the team showed they have a deep roster with some room for improvement, but their shooting is better than in previous years. The rematch vs. Denver has been highly anticipated by the fans but also for LeBron and AD rematch.
