Coach Darvin Ham has been using the preseason games to check out the entirety of his roster, and tonight vs. the Milwaukee Bucks hasn't been the exception, without Jalen Hood-Schifino who missed the game, a young Laker received the opportunity instead.

The purple and gold starting five had D'Angelo Russell, Taurean Prince, Rui Hachimura, Christian Wood, and Anthony Davis, while the second unit tonight was led by Scotty Pippen Jr. who got an opportunity now that Hood-Schifino was out.

Pippen Jr. got time with Hachimura, Jaxson Hayes, Cam Reddish, and Max Christie. Also, Maxwell Lewis saw playing time before the fourth quarter where the rest of the rookies and the bench saw minutes.

Scotty didn't have a great night but was able to contribute to the team by scoring a 3-pointer, 1 rebound, 3 assists, and two steals. Sadly, it seems Scotty Pippen Jr. won't be able to lock a spot on the Lakers roster as the team already had 14 out of 15 spots filled and the three two-way deals were also taken.

Max Christie had a good performance compared to earlier preseason performances

The sophomore SG Max Christie hasn't been able to show his best game in the past contests of the preseason, but tonight he did better as he had 26 minutes of playing time, scored ten points, four rebounds, and one steal.
