Former Boston Celtics big man Brian Scalabrine isn’t a fan of how was Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James handled himself after a blown call potentially took a win away from L.A. on Saturday.
“I just basically was surprised and shocked that they didn’t call the foul,” Scalabrine said. “… It’s LeBron James. He got hammered. I just don’t get it. I don’t get it. Now, I’m afraid I have to disagree with the fit afterward, and if my son did this, and the game went overtime, he would be taken out. That’s just me.” said Scalabrine.
The Lakers fans disagree with Scalabrine and think LeBron's actions are justified because it isn't the first time that the NBA referees have affected the team, and they have lost because of it.
Now, L.A. will try to create some new momentum over the remainder of its current road trip. The Lakers have been a resilient bunch all season, so fans can expect the team to continue battling as the campaign continues.
“The last two minutes and overtime were a blur. I don't know what happened. I think I have to watch the game and watch the film. Everything happened so fast. Have to move on, and we got the win. That's all I've got to say about that.” So said Tatum on the game, but he new what happened as he was laughing after the refs didn't call on the foul made by the Celtics star.
