The NBA Finals have started, and Game 1 came and went for the Denver Nuggets, quickly approaching winning the first championship title of their franchise history.
And even Lakers legends are surrounded by Nikola Jokiç performances, first was Shaquille O'Neal, but now the iconic guard Magic Johnson has joined the praise.
Magic wrote on his Twitter, "Jokic and Murray led their team to a 104-93 victory over the Miami Heat last night. Jokic recorded another triple-double; 27 points, 14 assists, and ten rebounds, and Jamal Murray finished with 26 points and ten assists!"
They also added, “The real heroes of the game were Aaron Gordon (16 points), Michael Porter Jr. (a 14-point and 13 rebounds double-double), and Bruce Brown. Brown had ten big points off the bench.”
After making it into the Western Conference Finals, the next goal for the team is to keep as much as they can from this year's roster and improve it to contend for the NBA's championship the next campaign.
