You won't believe what this Lakers legend said about Wembanyama after his debut & surprises

Last Friday night, the LA Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors in their Summer League debut, but earlier, the NBA saw the most anticipated summer debut, Victor Wembanyama.

While many in the NBA know it's only his first game, he disappointed most of the fans, as he didn't perform as expected, and even admitted in the post-game presser that he didn't know what he was doing.

Still, some see his potential and game; that's the case of the Lakers legend Jerry West who believes that Wemby will be a nightmare for the opposing offenses.

"He ruins games [defensively]. He reminds me a little bit of a bigger Bill Russell... Any offensive player must be cautious about where he is because he will mess up some offenses." Said Jerry West on Wembanyama.

Carmelo Anthony advises Victor

The former Lakers Carmelo Anthony had an encounter with the Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama. He gave him some advice after his first contest in the Summer League: "Just hoop and enjoy Vegas."
