It didn't last for long, the stint between the Los Angeles Clippers and Russell Westbrook, despise that everyone involved was allegedly happy with their partnership, including the organization and the fans.
But a new report from Bleacher Report's NBA insider Eric Pincus, the Clippers may need more money to afford the former Lakers star, Russell Westbrook.
Despite everything that has happened, Russell Westbrook is still worth a millionaire salary that will be challenging for any NBA franchise to afford, including the Clippers, after the disappointing playoff outcome in the early days.
"Look for Westbrook to seek an opportunity elsewhere on a team with cap space or a non-taxpayer mid-level exception (roughly $12.2 million)," Wrote Erick Pincus.
Recently, the other former Lakers, PG Patrick Beverley, revealed on his podcast that he and Westbrook spoke to each other, and the still Clippers star said that if the Lakers win the championship, he wants his ring; Pat Bev concurs.
