The Los Angeles Lakers still need to make some moves before the start of the season as they haven't improved the roster enough to compete for the Western Conference. There have been some players linked to the Lakers in the last couple of weeks, but nothing has happened yet. Still, there's some time for them to make some moves.
The latest news about a possible trade to the Lakers includes Cam Reddish. Despite not having a great resume, the Lakers might be opting to bring him to the team to help them get to the playoffs. Now reports have said that the Knicks' players have requested a trade.

According to the New York Post, the 23-year-old wants a trade out after only one year with the Knicks. “The Post has learned Reddish wants a change of scenery from New York after he was traded there in January and didn’t initially crack the rotation to build confidence.”
“The Lakers have interest in the 6-foot-8 Reddish and could be part of a three-team deal with Mitchell. If they aren’t included, the Knicks could do a separate deal with Los Angeles, perhaps to recoup a first-round pick they lost in a Utah scenario,” concluded the New York Post report.
There are a couple of players that can improve the Lakers roster. They should make a better push for Donovan Mitchell. Still, there's the chance for the Lakers to trade for the Pacers duo of Myles Turner and Buddy Hield.
